On Monday 22nd May, my hometown of Manchester, United Kingdom, was shattered by a bombing which has claimed the lives of 22 people. I am not using my blog to make a demonstration, to sit and point blame. The way my beloved city came together, so many came out to help, no matter their creed, colour, sexuality or religion. It made me so proud of our humanity, whilst we were grieving for young innocent lives lost, the light that came through the clouds was a city that loves each other and proved it. I know people who lost someone, sadly someone I work with lost a family member and I knew people who were injured. So, I made this post. It is not over the top, it is my quiet reflection on my beautiful hometown, which will only get stronger.
A quick post from me today. I went to a couple of events and managed to grab some amazing items. I have definitely missed the shopping aspect of Second Life! This is from Fameshed 5th anniversary and I recommend going as there are some great creations but some vendors are even offering a free gift as well when you join the group, which is free. I put together this look on Sunday but only just managed to get it posted for you guys. I also updated to a Bento head, which I am loving!
Getting back into gor with this dress from Luminary, which is at this months We Love Roleplay. I also hit the Truth sale and got some old and new mesh hairs…I do have a couple of years to be catching up on! The Truth sale has been extended through 16th May, so be sure to go!
One part of my being back, was We Love RP! As I wandered round I was glad to see some old established designers there, especially Cellar Door. I got this top, corset and panties set It’s really sexy and I love it comes with all different body shapes in it. And always such good value for money as well. Plus there is an adorable freebie item as a gift as We Love RP is 4 this year. Time flies! I also grabbed these awesome Bento claws from Meva which work with the Maitreya bento hands and looks great when on. Ideal for a slave or Fantasy role play.
Well, it does feel odd to be doing this again, but I have missed it. One good thing is now I can legitimately say I need to shop at all these events! Not that I ever needed an excuse anyway. I popped along to Uber as soon as it opened. I do love the fact that mesh clothing now fully fits the mesh bodies, yes to some this is old news, but to me this is pretty fabulous as I have been on and off for almost 2 years! I did invest in the Maitreya body as I prefer the look, but I have the Slink ones also. Anyway, I do hope to be posting more in the future!
Almost 2 years… but I am back, updated body and considering blogging again. I still think it’s amazing my site and blog has been getting views every day even after all this time. I miss blogging very much, so the possibility is very appealing to me….. Stay Tuned!
Two years ago I began a blog as a bit of fun and to showcase items in Second Life. Gradually it grew, I was lucky enough to get fantastic sponsors, be part of amazing events such as We Love Roleplay. The Fantasy Collective and The Fantasy Gacha Carnival.
Over the two years I have blogged for many talented and varied designers and I am really honored they trusted me with their creations, to blog them.
However, as time has gone on recently, it has become apparent I just do not have the time to dedicate to a blog anymore. I am very rarely in Second Life and as such have made a decision to stop blogging. My real life has taken turns I never expected, in fantastic ways, so I am looking upon this as a good thing, that I am concentrating on my real life adventure.
I have extended my thanks to the designers personally and the events I was in and hope, if I ever get the time and inclination to blog again, I might be reconsidered.
Much love and thanks to all my followers, my readers and anyone who ever took an interest in what I did. It means much more than you will ever know.
On A Lark has once again released a beautiful outfit for 25L Tuesday with this camisk style dress with beautiful pastel colors. I wear it over my SLink body and it fit really well using only a few alpha layers where it pokes through when I walk. A great addition to your wardrobe I recommend you pick up this dress!
A new release from On A Lark for 25L Tuesday with this really cute dress. I am wearing over my SLink body and it fits really well, but not sure how it would be over others but I imagine the fit would be similair.
I raided my inventory for some cute items and did not realize till I was editing the pictures I mostly used On A Lark accessories as they just seemed to fit the look. I also added the cap from Spellbound which is available at We Love RP right now!
