On Monday 22nd May, my hometown of Manchester, United Kingdom, was shattered by a bombing which has claimed the lives of 22 people. I am not using my blog to make a demonstration, to sit and point blame. The way my beloved city came together, so many came out to help, no matter their creed, colour, sexuality or religion. It made me so proud of our humanity, whilst we were grieving for young innocent lives lost, the light that came through the clouds was a city that loves each other and proved it. I know people who lost someone, sadly someone I work with lost a family member and I knew people who were injured. So, I made this post. It is not over the top, it is my quiet reflection on my beautiful hometown, which will only get stronger.
